Welcome to E6Z's Wiki.

This is a place where you will all contribute and we can share learning in a new way. You will be required to put in your ideas on discussions, share thoughts on video material, so group presentation planning, share writing tasks, edit, comment or correct each other's work. It will be a non-judgemental space where we are all equal contributors and no one will make anyone else feel "put down".
If you would like to add pictures and graphics too, that would make it a very interesting space.

Have fun as well as learn in another way this module.
Best wishes to you all,
Robyn Brice

Hi All!
I have given each project group a page each to use for their chatting, planning and discussion about their project.
Please use this space instead of lots of emails, as then all your group can read your comments at once. The teachers can also see what you are doing, and who is doing the work and make some comments if you should need some help. But please make sure you talk to us if you are having difficulties and if you have any questions at all.
Click on the link on the left hand side of the page to find your project page.

__i-phones and i-pads__
Hi Students,
It is important that you begin to take the work you do in class and out of class more seriously. Doing homework, including tasks on the WIKI are vital for your progress and for developing more independent learning skills.
So... here is another task for you to do over the next week: click on the link to an article on ipads and iphones. In the discussion section, put some of your thoughts about the importance of these types of technologies to our lives.

Thursday, May 6th.

We will be using a new page tomorrow for you to post your new vocabulary from reading you are doing. I hope you will all contribute, as the more people who put postings, the more helpful it is for you all. Your thoughts about the i-pod/ipad technology are really interesting and a great way for you to express your opinions.

Don't forget to write up your paragraph of the essay on global warming, by Friday. Then you will be able to use this as a model for you own individual writing.

Follow this link to the useful site we used to watch the lesson on Global Warming and Greenhouse Gases: //English lessons -IELTS prep//
Navigate around this site to find not only listening practice, but grammar, writing and exam tips.

I have posted up the answers to some of the reading homework that you should have completed by now!
Remember, it is no help to look at the answers before having a go yourself. The more you read, understand and can analyse the text, the better you will get at all reading tasks.

Well done everyone on your great presentations today. I was impressed by the amount of work you had put in and also your visual aids. I hope you get the chance to show these skills you have, again...next module perhaps!

These are the links to the news items that relate to the BTN we saw on Internet Filters. They will be useful in helping you form your opinions on the topic and also give some supporting materials and examples.

Hey Guys! Take a look at yourselves in full-flight giving your presentation. Photos of the stars, Photos of the stars 2! Now, do you think you can add some captions to the photos? They may be funny or just clever!
